Zarówno Diane, jak i David są naukowcami (obecnie emerytowanymi).

Windy Hall zajmuje około czterech akrów położonych na zboczu, które Diane and David w ciagu ponad 30 lat zamienili w przepiękny i czarujący ogród.

 Both Diane and David are scientists (now retired). 

Windy Hall occupies about four acres on the hillside. In over 30 years Diane and David have turned this place into a beautiful and charming garden.

Diane and David mają także na terenie swojego ogrodu hodowlę czarnych owiec z szkockich wysp Hebryd (black Hebridean sheep).

Na terenie Windy Hall znajduje się małe jezioro z kaczkami (Eiders and White Faced Whistling Ducks).

Diane and David also have a breeding of black sheep from Hebrides (black Hebridean sheep) in their garden. In Windy Hall there is a small lake with ducks (Eiders and White Faced Whistling Ducks).
