Pierwsze formalne ogrody powstały wokół rezydencji na początku XVIII wieku. Przez następne lata (ponad 200 lat) ogrody w Tatton Park były powiększane - każdy kolejny właściciel tej posiadłości dodawał swoją część do tych pięknych ogrodów.
Aktualnie na terenie Tatton Park znajdują się formalne i nieformalnie ogrody, ogród włoski i topiary, ogród różany, otoczony murem ogród, ogród japoński, oranżeria a także labirynt.
Dziś jest to niemal kompletny obraz tego, jak ogrody wyglądały w czasach edwardiańskich ze wspaniałymi ogrodami formalnymi, ogrodem kuchennym i szklarniami. Ogród japoński, założony ponad 100 lat temu, jest prawdopodobnie najbardziej znanym miejscem w Tatton Park.

Kwiaty były spektakularne! Plus przepiękne i różnokolorowe azalie.

W drugiej połowie lipca odbywa się tutaj ekspozycja kwiatów organizowana przez Królewskie Towarzystwo Ogrodnicze (Royal Horticultural Society).

The first formal gardens were built around the residence at the beginning of the 18th century.
Over the next years (over 200 years) the gardens in Tatton Park were enlarged - each subsequent owner of this estate added his part to these beautiful gardens.
Currently, Tatton Park has formal and informal gardens, an Italian garden and topiary, a rose garden, a walled garden, a Japanese garden, an orangery and a labyrinth.
Today, it is an almost complete picture of how the gardens looked like in Edwardian times with magnificent formal gardens, a kitchen garden and greenhouses. The Japanese garden, founded over 100 years ago, is probably the most famous place in Tatton Park.
When I visited the gardens at Tatton Park it was the time of rhododendron flowering.
The flowers were spectacular! Plus beautiful and colorful azaleas.
In the second half of July, the flower exhibition organized by
Royal Horticultural Society.

Ogród Japoński w Tatton Park / Japanese Garden in Tatton Park
Utworzony został ponad 100 lat temu (1910 rok), jest prawdopodobnie najbardziej znanym miejscem w Tatton Park. Uważa się go za jeden z najlepszych japońskich ogrodów w Europie. Sam ogród jest w stylu ogrodu herbacianego. Elementy roślinne, kamienie i skał są starannie rozmieszczone. Nie ma tutaj kwiatów; kształty drzew mają tu ogromne znaczenie, i technika przycinania drzew jest bardzo ważna. W tym ogrodzie znajduje się wiele japońskich klonów,
które nie zawsze można znaleźć w prawdziwych ogrodach japońskich.
